Dress Code
Bradley County Schools DRESS CODE GRADES 7-12
Students should dress modestly at all times. Biker shorts, spandex shorts, gym shorts, short shorts, cut-offs, baggy pants, hanging chains, midriff tops, and tank tops are not permitted for regular class wear. Shorts And skirts should be no shorter than that point where the student's finger- Tips reach with arms and hands straight down to the sides. All shirts, tops, Blouses, dresses and any other wear must have a minimum of a 3-inch Sleeve. Chains are not allowed. Clothing which advertises alcoholic beverages, tobacco products, Illegal substances, or which displays profane or sexual innuendoes (such As Johnson or Absolute shirts) is not permitted. Shoes must be worn at All times. Hats, caps or other head coverings are not permitted in the Building. No gang-related clothing or paraphernalia will be permitted. Sagging flagging or any other 'identifier" will be in violation of the school dress code. Students wearing inappropriate clothing will be unexcused. This dress code applies to all students, male and female. Note: This dress code is a guideline to acceptable attire and cannot be considered completely exclusive. Therefore, when other dress is deemed inappropriate for reasons not listed, the administration will address the violation. In matters of opinion, the judgment of the administration prevails. |
